Beer Cheese Soup (author's favorite)
Ingredients
- 1 16 oz. jar Cheese Whiz
- 1 oz. Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 lb. bacon, diced, cooked and drained
- 1 12 oz. can Coors, warm
- 1/2 gallon milk
- 1/4 oz. Tobasco sauce
- 1/2 cup onion, cooked and drained
- 3 Tbs granulated chicken boullion
- 3/4 cup cornstarch
Instructions
Cook in double boiler or crock pot (takes a while). Mix all the milk but 1 cup, chicken boullion, worcestershire sauce, tobasco, bacon and onion. Heat until warm, mix remaining 1 cup cold milk with corn starch. Heat until thickened. Add Cheese Whiz, remove from heat and add beer. Mix well.
